Lock Cylinders

Over 20 million uPVC and patio doors in the UK are fitted with European profile cylinders.

Standard Euro-profile cylinders can be broken in seconds using simple household tools - and burglars are quickly finding this out!

These cylinders are easy to fit in about 5 minutes; see our measuring and fitting guide.

We offer two solutions:

The first is to fit a cylinder from Mul-T-Lock's Break Secure range...find out more.

If a Mul-T-Lock Break Secure cylinder is attacked the cylinder will break, however, it breaks in the lock so the door remains secure.

The second is to fit a Gege (KABA) pExtra Cylinder.

The pExtra cylinders have a steel bar reinforcing the inherent cylinder weak spot and have the added advantage of restricted keys.
