CIA at the 2012 Southampton Boat Show
We are very excited here at CIA, as we are entering a new market with CIA’s BoatWatch, so there’s no better place to launch it than the Southampton Boat Show.
We hope to wow the boating community, and with an average 120,000 visitor attendance, we are bound to make some waves! (Excuse the pun)
Our all in one boat security solution works over any 3G/GPRS mobile network straight to your smart phone. It’s key feature is that, unlike other systems, our Alarm Receiving Centre can actually alert the boat owner while the crime is in progress, it works the second any movement is detected, the wide angle camera shoots a 10 seconds of video.
The video is transmitted to our Remote Video Response Centre. They’ll alert you the boat owner and even send images of the event to their phone or computer rather than just sending a text to a phone that may be switch off, out of coverage or not at hand. AND it’s mobile – you can move it to where you need it with speed and great ease. It can be used internally and externally. It has absolutely no wires and runs off a battery that lasts for up to 4 years.
We are also introducing ArchAngel, the solution to your Duty of Care, its innovative app uses the phone’s GPS to convert a smartphone into an advanced Lone Worker device so no outlay for more hardware. This clever technology can also be used as a ‘virtual carer’ to give you peace of mind for those you can’t see, whether it’s for an elderly family member or the young ones.

SelectaDNA is a new easy-to-use marking kit, give your boat a unique forensic number. Details of the boat, equipment serial numbers and their keeper are then held on a central, secure database.
