A Full Installation Service For All Safe Types
Within Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and Sussex CIA’s own installation team will carry out the installation in a safe, efficient and professional manner. For specialist installations or for installations outside of this operational area the skills of the manufacturers own dedicated installation teams are utilised enabling CIA to provide a full nationwide installation service.
The overall security of the safe is dependent on how well it is installed, as well as it’s siting, therefore it is vitally important that the correct location is chosen and the correct materials are used for the installation.
Complimentary Security
Safes provide specific protection for the valuables & documents placed within them and compliment any Burglar Alarm Protection the property may have. If a thief gains entry to your property he may have time to remove valuables on view however he will not have time to locate and open a safe to get to the contents stored within it.
Additionally safes can be connected to suitable Intruder Alarm systems to provide additional remote monitoring protection, using Safe limpets, Vibration detectors or even connections via the safe’s own electronic keypad lock.
Anchoring And Siting
Insurers may insist that safes weighing less than 1 ton are anchored to the floor or fabric of the building to prevent unauthorized removal, our skilled installation teams will deliver and site your safe with the minimum of inconvenience ensuring it is adequately anchored to provide optimum security.
Installation on upper floors can be undertaken but prior notice is essential. It is important to check that staircases or lifts are able to accept the weights involved. If in doubt, we will arrange for a preparatory safe installation/risk assessment survey to be conducted – Charges may be applicable for surveys carried out outside of CIA’S own installation area however these are refunded against the future purchase of a safe from CIA.
Download our Safe Installation/Risk Assessment Guide. Completing this will assist you in identifying any possible restrictions or obstructions which may prevent the safe from being installed or incur additional delivery costs.
