Fire Safety

Under ‘The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005’, every business needs to have nominated a “responsible person” to take practicable and feasible steps to ensure the safety of their employees.  The responsible person must carry out and keep up to date, a fire risk assessment and in turn, provide fire safety measures to reduce any risk to life.

Conforming to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order

Our dedicated team can help you in these four, very important fire safety areas:

1. Fire detection and alarms systems

Our FIA trained system designers will help guide you through the order. All our systems are BAFE accredited and to BS5839 standards. More on fire alarms.

2. Firefighting equipment

We have a wide range of fire extinguishers and fire blankets.  We offer location advice, and annual fire extinguisher servicing to BS5306-3:2009 which includes a discharging, testing and refilling service. Read more on fire extinguishers.

3. Emergency lighting

Designed and installed in accordance with BS5266 standards.

4. Signage

Our experienced retail department will advise you on suitable signs and location and supply fire action and pictogram format signs. Call them on 023 9224 2449.
