Investing in training and employee development
Throughout CIA’s 50+ year history, we have been committed to staff training and development. Over 85% of the current management team have completed enhanced training to support their career development opportunities.
We believe people want their systems installed by experts so we train our engineers to the highest standards. We have a structured engineer grading system, which starts once an employee completes his or her apprenticeship, then through grades IV up to I, then to specialist of a particular discipline or to supervisor before junior management, all must start at the bottom but those with experience should quickly move up through the ranks.
Our trainee engineers follow an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and attend day release courses at Chichester College for a minimum of three years to gain a Level III NVQ.
