Monitored Intruder Alarm Keyholders
For monitored systems, all of the South’s Police Forces, as well as the Environmental Health Agency, require the full name and address of at least two keyholders that adhere to the criteria below:
- Preferably, two in addition to those residing at the premises
- At least two of the keyholders must have a telephone number
- Hold a key to the property and an alarm code/key
- Can normally attend the premises within 20 Minutes (24 hours daily)
Why do you need email addresses for Keyholders?
Some of the signals a monitored alarm system sends are important enough to warrant a call in the middle of the night, whereas many low-priority signals we understand you’d prefer to receive an email about instead. Read more about our alarm status signals policy here.
Update Your Keyholders (Using The Form Below)
It is only necessary to fill in additional information if adding to an existing keyholder lists.
IMPORTANT – In the interest of security, a contact number is required. This is so that a member of the department can telephone you in order to activate the changes. You will be asked to provide the alarm account and passcode numbers (please have them handy). This will take place during normal office hours. If an urgent keyholder change needs to be made outside of normal office hours, please call 02394 387808.
