Preventing PC and Laptop Theft

The theft of PC’s and laptop computers has been a serious problem in recent years. The cost of the theft is often two-fold, the first being the repairs to the property and replacement of expensive computer equipment and secondly, the loss of work and often confidential data stored on the machines hard drive.

Securing Personal Computers and Laptops

CIA supply and install a range of computer security devices. Tower security cages secured to the floor or wall give 24 hour protection with unimpeded computer use. These will also protect against chip theft and accidental damage.

Laptops can be secured to desks when in use, preventing opportunist thefts. Small safes and vehicle safes can be supplied to prevent thefts from the home or vehicle. Cable locks are a cost effective way of securing monitors, low cost printers and scanners against opportunist theft.
