A website dedicated to all forms of property security
Hello again
Clearly, this is a website dedicated to all forms of property security and our aim is to help anybody researching the subject to understand the ins and outs of both electronic and physical forms of security. By electronic we mean CCTV, fire systems and intruder alarms and by physical we mean everything from locks and safes to car park barriers and bollards and also access control and fire door release and escape systems which often combine the two.
Saying that, my last blog post wasn’t really about security at all; it touched on some of this website’s underlying technologies – Drupal, cloud hosting, etc – because I wanted to mark the launching of our new website as an event. It highlighted the fact that even though the website looks beautiful, its real strength is the bits you can’t see: the backend. This post, too, has more about the website, but a little about the company and security itself as well.
The last time, I talked about how this website was a living breathing thing but, alas, I’ve been too busy working on improving the underlying technology to add new content. Nor have I yet had time to teach our staff how to add new pages, news stories, blogs, new products, announcements, etc that, in theory, they will be able to do without any knowledge of HTML, the language used to make web pages.
In the meantime, this blog post is just a heads-up of what improvements you can expect from this website over the coming weeks and months. As well as catching up on all the latest industry related, charity event or general company news that I’ve missed while I’ve been working hard on the site, we will be keeping our services sections right up to date with the help of with our knowledgeable system designers.
Until next time,
Antony Christie
