CIA’s answer to a prayer
The theft of lead from church roofs is topical at the moment – it was on Radio 4 recently and features on the BBC website.
It makes you realise how difficult it is to protect vulnerable and remote places where it is impractical to fit a conventional CCTV system – areas like farm buildings, building sites and even temporary storage locations because of the lack of power and telephone lines.
RSI Videofied is an ingenious battery powered, monitored, CCTV system with a built-in PIR movement sensor perfect for remote, inaccessible, temporary or rapid response locations. Because it uses its own power supply, it’s brilliant for locations (like church roofs) where there is no power source. It’s also quick and easy to install.
This is how it works:
- The second any movement is detected – on the roof, if we are talking churches – the wide angle camera shoots 10 seconds of video
- The video is transmitted to our Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC) – a 24hr/7/365 day manned security monitoring station
- Our RVRC alerts keyholders and even sends images of the event to their phone or computer
